South East Asian Games 2013

Just got back from Myanmar yesterday and it is great to be home after so many weeks living in a hotel and at the athletes village. I finished a disappointing 4th in the k4 1000m barely losing to Myanmar by 0.04s and indo by 0.7s. The Thais won 5.4s ahead and it's a pity we could come back with anything even though 2nd and 3rd were so close. Will have to work harder and hopefully be able to get a better result next time...

home sweet home

I'm coming to the end of my compulsory stay at the landmark village hotel in bug is and I must say I really have taken living at home for granted.

Whenever I'm back on the weekends I really enjoy my time and space that I have in my own home. And of course it's great to be out of the air con too.

I will be leaving for Myanmar on Friday the 6th and I hope that I will be able to do my very best. Fingers crossed!
