flying off again

In another 4 days I'll be flying to Budapest on my own for training camp. I think it'll be harder then ever and I hope that the work the goes into this camp will help bring me up another notch. I'm seriously considering focusing on the 200m and it'll take alot of discipline to obtain the strength and aerobic ability required from this very technical distance. Seems like alot of work to do. Will miss being home for 3 weeks

Training and racing

Somehow when training starts to get long and slightly more draggy and naggy, a race comes along and even if im just watching from the side or checking results on the net, that itch starts up. The feeling that i need to train harder so i can race even better this year than the previous.

I like freedom. The ability to choose where and when I can do things. To wake up at whatever time I desire. To eat what I want and do whatever I want without hesitation. I care not a damn what the world expects or wants from me. This is the life.

sport massage

2nd sport massage I've attended and its the most painful one that I've ever been through. My left lay was totally demolished today but I feel that the results are good. Gonna try to incorporate more massages into my training so I can release all the tension that builds up from training which is reducing flexibility and movement range

exams over

Finally a semester of hard work is over! I really put in alot more work this time and I hope the results will show for it. Paddling is abit of track again because of the heavy exam period and my body feels really rusty and in bad conditioning. Gonna start working on performing under pressure again and always being on my toes. On a side note welling qualified for the olympics! Really amazing and I wish her all the best:) very inspiring and I hope I will have the ability and perseverance to keep working till I achieve something like this. Well, happy hols!
